American Tea Party

March 30, 2009

I am already fed up with the Socialist direction our government is taking. I didn’t want to own banks (but I do), I didn’t want to own GM (but I do)–where will it stop? Obama has the right to oust the head of GM? What happened to America??? I am sick and tired to hearing about stimulus money–all stimulus money is is our own tax dollars, yet the presses keep on printing more money to bail out badly managed companies. I’ve made bad mistakes in my own checkbook from time to time, but I’ve never asked anyone to bail me out. So, buddy, can you spare a billion or so? I think there are utility companies waiting in the wings–maybe oil companies that have raked us over the coal for years will eventually come begging for a piece of the tarp pie? Gag. I am disgusted with what the government is doing, so I am sending a simple message to Washington tomorrow, in time for tax day–a single tea bag. If millions followed, maybe Obama Bucks would stop! The address to send your tea bag to is: The White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, DC 20500.

Obama, Hillary or McCain

June 20, 2008

What if I were to vote “none of the above”?  I am a staunch conservative republican, but I’m not convinced that McCain is the man.  I almost puke when I say I would sooner vote for Hillary than Obama, but I truly vomit when I think of voting for Obama.  He is the scariest man to come along in a long time.

I guess I should say that I am a fundamental Baptist and that I believe that the Rapture of Christians will happen soon; the Israel/Iran conflict is like a banner waving “THE END IS COMING!”  The Book of Revelations is so clear on this; I honestly believe that the end is upon us.

I’m sure that there are MANY people, some family members and some close friends, who disagree with this assumption based upon their disbelief of the Bible. I believe that the Bible is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago and it has proven time and time again to have no mistakes. My heart breaks for those who don’t believe that faith and belief in Jesus Christ will save them; I will miss them in heaven.  The door is narrow, but the only barrier is faith.  I ask you to consider the following: if you are scared to death of what is happening in the middle east today; scared that it is going to lead to the end of the earth; consult with someone who knows the truth.  You wouldn’t go to a ballet teacher to learn to waltz; you wouldn’t go to an astronomer to learn about how to treat dandruff; why on earth would you go to a “palm-reader” to learn what the Bible (God’s Holy Word) to learn about the end times and what you must do to get to heaven?

I don’t have a problem with ending the war; I wish we could pull all of our soldiers out and head them  home right now.  I personally know several of them, one of which is my nephew and I really wish he were home in Massachusetts with his wife and new baby right now.  I honestly believe that if we pulled our forces out now we would only be opening the doors from the Muslims, who openly believe in Jihad (killing those who are not Muslim), to come here on our own grounds, the United States, to attack us. I certainly would rather fight them on their lands, not ours.  Does the end of the war mean we wipe them all out?  I don’t think we can; I don’t think there is an end to this war, other than the end of the world (rapture).

I don’t like the choices for President in 2008.  McCain lacks the charisma to rally people, just like “dub-ya”, which means nothing will get done.  Hillary?  Just a few more molecules of testosterone and her balls would hang beneath her skirt.  Obama?  No way.

Just my opinion.
